Ch Firebuster’s Brenda Starr RD, RDX, CGC

INT/AMCH Firebuster's Brenda Starr RD RDX CGC is a lovely black spotted Dalmatian bitch. She was born July 26,1999 Her dam is CH Firebuster's Victoria's Secret and her sire is CH Centura Signature Sidekick (L).

Brenda earned her championship on May 18th 2001 at the Dalmatian Club of San Diego Specialty. In her third show she won Winner's bitch and Best of Winners, (earning her first point at 6 months, 24 days of age) with me (a total novice) handling her! In all, Brenda earned 51 awards, 3 majors (2 four-pointers and 1 three-pointer) and an Award of Merit (from the breed class the same day she earned her CH). Brenda was professionally handled by Martin Cabral.

Brenda won her first Best of Breed in Colorado on June 9th 2001.

At the Dalmatian Club of America 2002 National Specialty in Hutto Texas, Brenda earned the title of Road Dog with a first place in the RD-a class. She was also awarded a prize for 'highest scoring Champion'. As a team we were awarded prizes for 'team that traveled the farthest and 'best conditioned owner's horse for Doc.

Brenda also participated in her first professional fashion show modeling a leather Harley Davidson dog coat in a benefit to raise money for the 9-11 Fireman's Fund. She has since participated in several more shows,
all for charity.

On Memorial Day 2002, we bred Brenda to CH Firebuster's Comic Relief, "Kramer", A beautiful black spotted dal. On July 28th, Brenda whelped 10 healthy puppies. 5 boys and 5 girls. All BAER bilateral. One of the puppies, Bailey, stayed to become
part of our family.

On November9, 2003 Brenda earned her RDX at the Dalmatian Club of San Diego County's first Road Trial held in conjunction with their Specialty.

Brenda is now retired from the show ring, but still active as a representative of her breed. Brenda graced the cover of San Diego Family magazine and has been the model and inspiration for my Dalmatian paintings.

On October 20th 2006 Brenda Starr crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. She will live forever in our hearts and memories. Please visit Brenda's tribute page. ( under construction)
